PARISH CASE STATEMENT: Reaching the IGNITE goal gives our parish the potential to receive 33 %
Our campaign proceeds will go toward the following:

Parish Participation
Every parish in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is asked to participate in the IGNITE: Our Faith, Our Mission campaign.
Parishes conducting a Good Faith Effort agree to participate in the campaign as designed by our counsel, Guidance In Giving, Inc., in order to reach their established financial goal.
ST DOMINIC CHURCH will re-launch our IGNITE CAMPAIGN on October 30th, 2021 with the IGNITE VIDEO PRESENTATION. IGNITE: OUR FAITH, OUR MISSION- is the Archdiocesan-wide campaign to help meet local needs of parishes. 33 % of all funds raised by the parish will stay at the parish for repairs and maintenance of our parish facilities and to partly pay our outstanding debts to the Diocese. If we surpass our goal of $ 290,684, in pledges over the next 4 years, 67% of the funds raised over our goal will stay at the parish.
Relaunching of the IGNITE program in St Dominic Church with the video presentation will take place at the week-end of October 30/31, 2021 during all masses. Campaign prayers will be distributed and made available to everyone on the week-end of November 6/7. Other informational materials will be made available on the week-end of November 13/14. We shall have our IGNITE COMMITMENT WEEK-END on November 20/21; submission of. IGNITE PLEDGE CARDS will take place on the week-end of December 1 / 2. We ask everyone to join and participate actively in this campaign. Please think and prayerfully consider regarding your sacrificial gift for the Church…for our parish community! OBJETIVO DE LA CAMPAÑA ENCIENDE DE NUESTRA PARROQUIA: $ 290.684 DÓLARES. PARTICIPACIÓN DE LA PARROQUIA: 33 %
DECLARACIÓN DE LA PARROQUIA: Alcanzar la meta de ENCIENDE le da a nuestra parroquia la posibilidad de recibir el 33% de los ingresos de la campaña.
Los ingresos de nuestra campaña se destinarán a lo siguiente
- Reparaciones y mantenimiento de nuestras instalaciones parroquiales y a pagar parcialmente nuestras deudas pendientes con la Diócesis.
Participación Parroquial
Se pide a todas las parroquias de la Arquidiócesis de Galveston-Houston que participen en la campaña IGNITE: Nuestra Fe, Nuestra Misión. Las parroquias que realicen un Esfuerzo de Buena Fe se comprometen a participar en la campaña tal y como ha sido diseñada por nuestro asesor, Guidance In Giving, Inc. con el fin de alcanzar su objetivo financiero establecido.
La IGLESIA SANTO DOMINGO relanzará nuestra CAMPAÑA ENCIENDE el 30 de Octubre de 2021 con la PRESENTACIÓN DEL VIDEO ENCIENDE. ENCIENDE: NUESTRA FE, NUESTRA MISIÓN- es la campaña de toda la Arquidiócesis para ayudar a satisfacer las necesidades locales de las parroquias. El 33% de todos los fondos recaudados por la parroquia se quedarán en la parroquia para reparaciones y mantenimiento de nuestras instalaciones parroquiales y para pagar parcialmente nuestras deudas pendientes con la Diócesis. Si superamos nuestro objetivo de 290.684 dólares, en promesas durante los próximos 4 años, el 67% de los fondos recaudados por encima de nuestro objetivo se quedarán en la parroquia.
El relanzamiento del programa ENCIENDE en la Iglesia de Santo Domingo con la presentación del video tendrá lugar el fin de semana del 30/31 de octubre de 2021 durante todas las misas. Las oraciones de la campaña serán distribuidas y puestas a disposición de todos el fin de semana del 6/7 de noviembre. Otros materiales informativos estarán disponibles el fin de semana del 13/14 de noviembre. Tendremos nuestro FIN DE SEMANA DE COMPROMISO IGNITO el 20/21 de noviembre; entrega de. La entrega de las TARJETAS DE COMPROMISO IGNITO tendrá lugar el fin de semana del 1 / 2 de diciembre. Pedimos a todos que se unan y participen activamente en esta campaña.
